JP Vodokanal is a public corporation from town Becej , Serbia.

The basic line of business is the production, treatment and the distribution of drinking water and treatment and transfer of waste waters

The construction of a modern water supply system in Bečej began in the late 70's. It consists of a central water source outside the town, a central water treatment plant (degasification, filtration, reservoir and a pump station) and a water supply system distribution network.

In the period of intensive investments between 1985 and 1991, some major plans were carried out which met the requirements of long-term development plans in this area. Since 1991, it has come to drastic investments decrease in water supply system construction.

About 23.000 inhabitants are connected to the public water supply network, that is 85% of the population living in Bečej.

The average water consumption (industrial and household) is 100 l/S and 150l/S in summer period.
